I have reviewed the Beaumont a few times before but it just gets better and better ( if that’s possible). I was at college in Hexham , many years ago and we have a reunion each year. This year was no exception- a came in September, for 3 nights .

We had our reunion on the Saturday lunch time with a buffet for us and someone to look after us all the time. Lovely staff, food and couldn’t have looked after us better. 12 of us had a beautiful meal in the evening. Couldn’t fault anything. My room was lovely too. Thank you again- we are always made to feel very special. A few weeks later my partner and I went to stay for 3 nights. Another lovely room with balcony- excellent. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Housekeeping were brilliant too. The food was truly amazing- Herdwick cutlets , Cheese Soufflé and everything else I had for dinner cooked to perfection. Breakfast also a lovely meal- thanks Andy and others.

Roger should be so proud of what he and others have achieved in about 6 years. Can’t wait to go back - a four hour journey but well worth it. Thank you all of you.

We stayed last week for 1 night. Everything written in previous reviews is correct. It’s in a great location. The rooms are very comfortable, its so nice to have 2 chairs in our room rather than one of us having to lie on the bed.

Little touches like this elevate this hotel to a higher level. We dined here, the food was very good and finally the staff as very professional and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back.

Absolutely excellent hotel in every way. Fabulous evening meal and breakfast. Outstanding bedroom and en suite.

Only problem was the on sreet parking which meant moving my car afer breakfast to a free carpark about 10minutes away. Inspite of this I would recomend the Beaumont without reservation to anyone visiting Hexham because of its excellence and central location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Beaumont Hotel, Hexham. Once we had sorted out the parking ( car park full so we had to use a disc for street parking) we were welcomed at the open plan reception/ bar/ restaurant.

We were very impressed with the lovely wallpaper furniture and artwork throughout the hotel . Our room was clean and spacious. The food , both breakfast and evening meals, was freshly cooked , well presented and delicious. All the staff were polite and helpful .

By chance my husband's work diary and my work diary happened to match not once but twice and we have enjoyed two lunch dates together here! One in September - my birthday lunch date and another in October. Absolutely great service and food.

We both enjoyed the oysters, I opted for the pear salad starter, I can't remember my mains I think it was the trout, dessert the peach. Everything was spot on.

We highly recommend this hotel because of the overall service, how well managed it is, it is beautifully decorated (the rooms and all other areas), the food was delicious (breakfast and dinner), the location is excellent and our room was lovely and very quiet. We can't wait to return!

Great hotel in a lovely location Fabulous hotel and possibly the best buffet breakfast ever! We stayed in a superior room which was very comfortable , clean and stylish -The staff are lovely.

We will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the very near future
